Folsom has many beautiful locations for weddings and engagements.  One of my favorites is the Lake Natoma Inn. Sarah  & Alex where so much fun to work with!!  We took these shots not too long ago, and their wedding is in just a few short weeks....take a peak at the proofs:  http://pechan.smugmug.com/gallery/1629503

  • Angela & Ramsi

As I mentioned earlier, engagement sessions are a fabulous time to get to know the couple!  The arboretum in Davis is a beautiful walk and has many fabulous places to take photographs.  Check out the fun we had...

  • Maloof Basketball camp...

Each year the Maloof's, owner of the Sacramento Kings and many other business ventures, conduct a basketball camp for boys and girls ages 7-18.  Throughout the week the kids get to learn fundamental skills about the game.  Check out the sight...  http://www.topdawgbasketball.com/

As luck may have it, I have been allowed the opportunity to take photographs of the Joe & Gavin Maloof autograph sessions providing team portraits with Joe, Gavin or Both!  I have to admit, my favorite part of this experience is getting to see how excited the kids are to receive photographs from the Maloofs or Kings ball players that may attend the activities.  They really love the 3pt and dunk shots...you should hear how loud the kids get!  So much fun!!  If you have kids into basketball, I highly recommend this camp!!  Check out the proofs....they are on sale NOW!!.   http://pechan.smugmug.com/Sports    Autographed team portraits will be available as well!!  Check back soon!!

  • Engagement Sessions..

Engagement photographs can be fun, exciting and always a learning experience!  It is a wonderful opportunity for the photographer and couple to get to know each other!  This allows the photographer to learn what poses the couple is comfortable and how to get them to relax and interact with each more than the camera.  Some engagement sessions are successful with in the first few minutes.  Others may not be successful until the engagement proofs are reviewed or even until the wedding!

I always recommend that a couple takes advantage of the engagement session! Besides what better way to capture the love of two people outside of their wedding day?
