Ismael and Rina where married in June of 2006 and have been waiting patiently for their photographs to be completed.  I can't thank them enough for their understanding!  They have been so sweet since the moment they hired me in 2005.  I also loved that we where able to spend 30 minutes together just taking photographs of them after the ceremony!  We got so many beautiful photographs of just the two of them!  I had to share just a few more!  Congratulations you two!!

WOW!! These two are not only the sweetest couple, they are absolutely hilarious!!  Today's ceremony entailed wine, roses, rings, vows, kisses and brooms.  Dinner, dancing and cake...everyone had smiles the whole event!  Congratulations Lorie and Steve!!

These two where married at St. James Church in Davis, CA. today.  I just loved photographing their engagement session!  The wedding was even better!  Here are a few tidbits...

I always try to express to my clients how important an engagement session is!  This couple was absolutely hilarious to work with.  I couldn't get the bride to stop giggling and the groom...well he didn't giggle, but I did catch him smiling!  They are a wonderful couple and so patient!  Their wedding is coming up in September...check back then.   In the mean time, here are their engagements proofs:  http://pechan.smugmug.com/gallery/1817697

Many people ask...why does it take so long for you to deliver photographs to your clients....

I really don't have an answer...that will make everyone happy.  But I do my best and providing each client with a wedding portfolio that they hired me for.  I go through each image individually to ensure clarity, color, composition and add any artistic style that I may deem necessary.  Not to mention that I remove any distracting elements that may interfere with the photograph.  I have removed people, razor burn, blemishes, tables, trash cans, dj stands, poles..you name it!  When you take over 1000 photographs at an event, this can be very cumbersome!  Don't forget the first time I provide the clients the image...they are done and ready to print!

I tell my clients this before they hire me and give them and estimate of 2-8 weeks for their photographs.  Currently I have two weddings that are going on 10 weeks.  Who knew pregnancy would have such an effect on my computer time.  But 10 weeks I am trying to make my max!! So I thought I would post a few images from the wedding I am currently working on....just to show ya...hopefully I will be complete by the end of today...

Nevada City is absolutely beautiful!  The Northern Queen Inn had absolutely georgeous grounds....I could have spent hours just taking photographs of these Newlyweds there!!

The bridal party were a laugh a minute!  No traditional poses for these guys!!

These two had a really fabulous wedding celebration.  They included the children in the exchange of the rings, the best man provided the groom breath spray before the kiss, the bride was smacked on the behind with a saber, the first dance included the children, they used a saber to cut the cake...it just goes on and on!  Truly a memorable event!!

I have been very unproductive this week!!  But I plan to have 3 weddings completed on Monday..have 4 more to complete in the next couple of weeks and one wedding to shoot every weekend until October 1st. Time is flying by, but it has been a wonderful wedding season!

I can't thank my clients and friends enough for being so patient with me!  As of today I am 6 months pregnant and entering the danger zone for my pregnancy history...I always deliver early.  I am so very blessed to have so many people willing to help out should an emergency pop up!
