I have few couples that are being incredibly patient right now waiting for their wedding photographs!  This couple is just one of them.  Aren't they adorable!!

Okay...I am running behind (your so surprised aren't you).  But I did finish one wedding and half way through another.  I apologize for not posting lately, but I will catch up this week.  I have soooooo much to share!!  Check back soon!

Seriously, when it rains it pours.  Things are actually absolutely fabulous personally and professionally, I couldn't really ask for more.

Computers....they are taking over our lives.  You may not realize how dependent you are on them.  But try being with out the internet and then rebuilding your computer.  You may not realize how many programs you have accumulated over the years to get you where you are today.  I started making a list of all the things I am having to add back onto my computer that I just didn't think about (I will then burn DVD's of all the add on's and downloads and put them with my off site storage)!  Like MS XP Image resizer...it is a breeze, I love it.  Took me 20 minutes to find it on the MS website today.  Finally get the proofs done, resized and ready to upload.  Wait, I can't seem to log into my proof website.  What was the password again?  (I haven't had to use my password in months!!)  May not matter, it looks like there website is down.  Let me add, I realize now that pregnant women have a hard time sitting in certain positions for a long period of time.  Of course so do the expected little ones.  I feel like Ripely in the movie aliens when I sit at the computer too long.  I swear I can see his body moving across my tummy.

The best thing to note....I LOVE MY JOB!!  I LOVE BEING A WIFE AND MOM!!  There is nothing like them in the world.  I highly recommend to all....be a photographer...get married and have at least one kid to spoil (animals count)!!

Well one can prepare for the little things in life, but it still slows you down. 

We moved!! I have my very own office!  Most of all, my husband has his very own office!!  Very exciting.  Not so exciting is that the internet took 2 weeks to install.  If you use on-line proofing or Outlook, you can only imagine my pain!

Once we got internet, I needed to install a wireless internet conecter to my computer (hub is in hubby's office).  In the process of doing that.....my computer died.  It may be the processor, it may be the mother board...good thing...it's not the hard drive with all the photographs (doesn't really matter...I am well backed up on location and with offsite storage!).  Offsite...yes I did say that...of course that is where I sent my PS disks also. 

So my first weekend of maternity leave (no more weddings to photograph) will be spent rebuilding my computer from the ground up.  Oh the joy!

Piece of advice...BACK UP YOUR STUFF NOW!!  ALL OF IT (my documents, actions, outlook, quickbooks, etc).  My planning ahead for a rainy day saved me alot of heartache!
