Pooh was shot with my new lights purchased a couple of weeks ago…this is a normal portrait session taken at 1am when no one else was available for me to practice on.

This Pooh was shot for Drop Out….not the best, but photoshop really helps make the drop out process cleaner when you don’t light it correctly.

Class….fellow photographer posing for dropout….white, shirt, white back drop, uneven back ground….not the best for drop out, but love the pose!

  • new lights? nice! what’d you get?

  • Isolations are TOUGH!  Specially when it’s white on white.  I like the pose too!!  :)

  • Yes…what light system did you get?? So funny you got those at 1 am!

I loved the photo Robin got of you!

  • After much debate, research and discussion, I ended up getting 3 Alien Bees.  I determined the cost would be appropriate if I decided portrait work wasn’t my forte.

So far they work great and are inexpensive to replace.  Hope to share more with everyone soon!

  • My mom has alien bees – great lights!  And as you mentioned – the price is right.

  • OMG, this made me giggle.  I used my son’s pooh bear as a model when I first got my studio lights!!!    -Jen
