These two were married on January 5, 2008 at the Sacramento LDS Temple. Yep, that was the weekend of the worst storm in years. They fought through the wind and the rain smiling! Such an adorable couple!! Such terrible weather. I was only there for two hours taking shots inside and out. I am still amazed I got anything given how bad the weather was!

MS One Note...
I'm not one to recommend one software or process over another as everyone has different needs. However, if you are one to use sticky notes, notebooks, to do lists or have a ton of paperwork you need to organize, then MS One Note is for you.
It is AWESOME!! I can not only keep track of my current tasks, but I now have a data base for my client stuff that can't be beat. With a scanner and a few clicks, I can keep their contact information, contract, notes....anything. Gone are my piles of things to get too, I just scan them in and create a tab for them. I don't have to look at them now....and I can organize them for future reference.
You can paste documents, links, files and contact information with just a click. If you have a chance, try it. I believe it is part of the latest MS software package containing outlook, excel, word etc.
Good luck, you will wonder what you ever did with out it!!

Madam DragonFly & Lady Mantis
I appreciate the comments! We actually did a reshoot for a couple of the dresses as the details were lost in the background..here are a few of the shots.
Just on a side note, the photographs are for a book titled "500 wearable art". There were several requirements as to the back ground and the look the designer was going for. Which is why we took the "bug" out for a walk in nature.
Hopefully a few of her dresses are selected!!

Wearable Art
I was recently approached to photograph a designer's (http://www.rebeccawendlandt.com) line of wearable art for a submission of her work. The photos could not be adjusted and were to be taken outside. The deadline is next week so we had to hurry once the weather cleared up.
There were a total of 6 dresses and 5 of them are based after insects....tell me what you think for my first designer shoot. (I did edit a little for my post).

XANGA!!
FYI, I am switching to WordPress for my professional blog which has come highly recommended from allot of professional photographers on the Digital Wedding Forum (which I also highly recommend).
One last note...I have completed the changes on my website for 2008 (less two galleries): Take a peek!
Best wishes!
