  • We Moved!

This week has been absolutely crazy!!  We finally got the keys to our new place...last friday at 5pm.  We got everything in and then my hubby left for 2 weeks for training in WA.  The indoor photos are nothing we would want to share at this point but here are a couple of the outdoors....

We have been waiting almost 2 years for the market to improve while living in one rental after another.  Every night my hubby would sit at his computer and look at home prices in certain areas, tracking what has sold and for how much.  He had been tracking the area we were renting and he found a few bank owned properties.  Well, one thing led to another and we made an offer we thought would surely be turned down.  To our surprise (and the realtors) they actually accepted it!

I can't tell you how excited we are to finally have our own place where we hope to grow old together in.  We have been absolutely blessed in our lives with two beautiful children and two careers that keep us running and smiling every day.

  • Congratulations, you are now a LAND (home) owner.

Talk about country living....keep an eye out for skunks and all them other Critters!  Your kids are going to love having all that outdoor space to play in. Where is it? Roseville, Linclon or some other rural area?

  • CONGRATS!!!  What a beautiful home and wide open spaces. -Jen

  • WOW! That's a lot of land. Congratulations!

  • @Borelfoto - The house is 3 acres in Wilton.  We have been renting in the same development for the last 6 months.  The critters have been limited to snakes, bugs, frogs and tons of birds.  My kids just love all of the wildlife.

@lastoriafoto - Thank you so much!  We are so excited to have our own place once again!

@evilroxanne - Thank you...3 acres is just enough space to be away from your neighbors with out getting overwhelmed with the maintenance!

@backlightphoto - Thank you...we have so many plans for decorating the landscape.  Of course, we have to get them approved by the HOA, but that is half the fun!

  • @Borelfoto - Okay, I forgot the bunnies...we have tons of them jumping around our yard.  Oh yea, the moles are in abundance in our yard as well.  We love the drive to the city...we get to see all sorts of farm animals on our way.
