Bad News…..

I didn’t escape the stomach flu and my sweet little 3 year old ended up getting the regular flu 2 days after the stomach flu.  So incredibly heartbreaking!!

Good News….

My stomach flu lasted only one day, the weddings went absolutely fabulous this weekend, my studio lights are to be delivered this week and I have tons of stuff to post!

I want to thank all of the xanga friends that have stuck with me these last 6 months!  Blogging has been at the end of the list this busy season and so many of you continue to check in!

Everyone has the stomach flu in our house except me.  There is nothing more heart wrenching than a 3 yr old throwing up, a 10 month old that doesn’t stop crying and a hubby that is unable to even stand.

My job is to clean up after and take care of my family.  Of course I am praying I don’t get it as I have two weddings starting Friday….

So it has been a week since the truck picked up all of our stuff and moved it from one place to another.  I never thought I would spend more time cleaning the place I moved into then the place I moved out of but what can you do!  The carpets weren’t cleaned so I am doing one room at a time and moving things from room to room.  I can’t tell you how difficult this process has been with a 10 month old and a 3 year old.  Imagine everything a little one isn’t supposed to be into at their level in a box….just waiting for them, calling to them….

They have been complete troopers and are so excited to be in our new place!!  I have been so busy cleaning and unpacking I haven’t had a chance to work.  I do get to take a break from the madhouse and photograph to wonderful weddings this weekend.

Life has been so wonderful to me this summer.  I have been able to photograph absolutely beautiful weddings of wonderful people, spend time with my two precious bundles of joy, go out on date nights with my hubby and still have time to keep up with my favorite summer t.v. shows.  I did have to let go of my on-line game for a while, but I will head back soon!

In the mean time, I have so much to show you!  Seven weddings and four albums are in the hopper with much more to come!!

Unfortunately, we recieved notice a few months ago that the owners of our rental want to sell.  Good thing for us, a wonderful property in Wilton arrose with 3 acres and a pool!  We are so excited to me moving!!  Of course, when you are in the trenches all you need is one more thing right!  We will be moving this week.

Therefore, I ask my wonderful clients to hold on just a little bit through this transition.  We will be up an running full speed ahead before you know it!
